1. Introduction

Little Swings ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you"). This policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information for the Little Swings mobile application. The app is designed for parents and guardians to help coach their children's golf; it is intended to be operated by adults.

2. Data We Collect and How We Use It

• Profile information: When you set up the app, you provide a first name or nickname, age, and handedness for your golfer. This information is stored only on your device. The name or nickname never leaves your device.
• Swing videos: Videos you record or select are stored only on your device. When you request an AI swing analysis, the video is transmitted for processing as described in Section 3.
• Usage analytics: We use PostHog to understand how the app is used (for example, screens viewed and features used) so we can improve it. This usage data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
• Purchase information: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. They process anonymous purchase history to unlock features.

3. AI Swing Analysis (Google Gemini)

When you submit a swing video for analysis, the video — along with your golfer's age, handedness, and a summary of recent swing-analysis results (never their name) — is transmitted securely to our server, which forwards it to Google's Gemini API to generate coaching feedback. The app asks for your permission and explains this before the first video is sent.

• We use Google's paid API tier, under which Google does not use submitted content to train its AI models.
• Videos and analysis results are not stored on our servers; they are retained only on your device.
• Swing videos and analysis data are never used for advertising.

4. Advertising Attribution (App Tracking Transparency)

With your permission, requested through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, we use the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure the effectiveness of our advertising — for example, to know that an ad led to an app install. This uses your device's advertising identifier and basic app events (such as install and purchase). It does not include swing videos, analysis results, or your child's profile information. If you decline the tracking prompt, the app works fully and your advertising identifier is not shared.

5. Children's Privacy

The app is intended to be set up and operated by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The child profile (first name or nickname, age, handedness) stays on your device, and swing videos are transmitted only for the analysis you request, as described above. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Google Gemini API: Processes swing videos to generate coaching feedback (Section 3).
• Meta (Facebook) SDK: Advertising attribution, only with your consent via App Tracking Transparency (Section 4).
• PostHog: Anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.
• RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management.

Each of these providers is contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not sell your personal information. Swing videos, analysis results, and your child's profile information are never shared for advertising purposes.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Swing videos, analysis history, and profile information live on your device and are deleted when you delete the app. To request deletion of any other data (such as analytics records), contact us at the email below.
